What’s in a Name…a Primer

Throughout the various peoples in existence, one can locate some kind of “faith system/religion” (as opposed to Yah’s “obedience/belief” system way of living).  (! Thessalonians 5:21) Some of these systems are very simple, while others are quite complex.  However, all have at least one identifying “name.”  Except for Christianity where the “father” of the “MAIN GOD,” has NO name by which to identify the one to whom they refer and to whom they “pray” (wish).

The “main” ‘religious’ organizations of this planet actually “worship” multiple “names” in “Baal (lord) worship.”  Their numbers are legion.  One even identifies himself by the designation, “legion” (more than 7000) the interpretive translations of the “scholars and scribes” of these “faith systems.” (Luke 8:26-30)

WE ADDRESS ONLY ONE OF THESE “main” “faith systems” in this brief work.  It is the one embraced by most of the general population of the “English” speaking nations – Christianity.

If the reader will set aside, for a moment, previously held ‘traditions” (teachings), we may find heretofore unknown and un examined truths.  (MattithYah 15:1-4)

Get a copy of some “interpretive translation” of what we refer to as a “bible.”  (Byblos is one of the names of the destroyer.  The word “bible” DOES NOT APPEAR in the, ah…bible.)  Go head, we’ll wait…

Now, look in the back at what is called a concordance; that is a list of words and verse locations.  If yours has this, look up the word “name.”  There are probably quite a number of listings.

In case your does not have this section, we will list a few:  “Revelation” 14:1 “…having the name of his father…”  Ooops, sorry, that example won’t work for Christians.  Okay, MattithYah 6:9, “… set apart be your name.”  Hmmm, same problem for Christians.  Let’s try again with Yahanan, “…the works that I do, I do in my abba (means far more than ‘father’) Yah’s name.”  Uh, oh, that won’t work either for the same reason and that is that the Christian “father” doesn’t have a name.  Yahanan, …”father, exalt  you name.”  Sorry!  Yahanan “… I have revealed your name to those you have given me out of this world.”  Hmmm.  I guess those are the ones who abba Yah’s name.  Picky you say?  What about “Revelation” 14:1 – something about 14,000 having the name of the “father” of the lamb?

We have a problem, as you can see.  Since the “father” that is commonly referred to by the one speaking is these verses has NO NAME in Christian “dogma,” does he?  Well, we simply cannot go forward, , or can we?

First, let the reader check out these two words in a dictionary or better yet, a reference book of some kind.  What two words?... “god and lord.”  Don’t these two words kind of bounce around inside our heads.  Does it really matter if we use upper case “g” and “I” or lower case?  Really?

At this point we are going to lose some readers.  Why?  Simple, intellectual “dis-honesty” (Dis in the vocalization is one of the destroyers names actually containing the concept of “being in opposition to”).  You know, “don’t mix me up with the facts, my minds made up.”  Or, “I want to be taught, just don’t tell me that I am wrong!”  Why is it that when a person is challenged with provable, true facts, the results is so often anger or age?  (Galatians 4:16, Amas 5:10)

In case the reader has neither a dictionary nor a reference book, we will provide some very basic truth about these two words found in most interpretive translations of what is claimen by “Christian religious scholars”  to be a truthful rendering of the original Hebrew scrolls.

The word ‘god” is a relatively recent word of Indogermanic origin which simply means, “poured image.”  It is a deliberate false translation from the Hebrew word, eloah, which translates into English as, “mighty one.”  No matter using upper case or lower case “g” the meaning remains the same.  Always remember, “names” are “transliterated” whereas, “words” are translated.  Transliteration is bringing across the “sound” of a name from one language to another.  Since the word “god” is not a name (with one or two exceptions {Fortune/Luck} with pagan “worship”) it should have been translated more properly in English as “mighty,” or mighty spirit leaders (elohim).  The word is more of a designation or title.  Just as “father, king, coach, daughter,” etc.

Now we have an interesting little tidbit.  If the reader is now exercising the previously mentioned “intellectual honesty,” answer this item:  What do we do with the passages in the scrolls that have been translated, “lord god?”  With a little more “digging” we will find that the false translation “lord” has a literal translation from Hebrew to English as “Baal.”  So, brace yourself:  “the lord god=Baal Ghuda=Baal, poured image.”

NOTE:  The accurate translation of the false “lord god” is Yah, supreme shepherd” (of the Hebrews).  There is a case to be made that “the lord your god should be rendered simply, Yah, you hoshua.

At this point, let’s take a break and look into the scrolls of teaching/the law with only one thing in mind as we “surf” around the writings.  Watch and observe how many times we will see the word, “NAME” used.  Also, be careful to not how the word, “NAME” is referenced.

The term translated as “name” when connected to the “name” Yah/Yahoshua means far more than simply the vocalization of identity of the one who speaks throughout the writings/scrolls.

Some interesting examples would be:  Bereshith 4:26,13:4, 22:14; We’elleh Shemoth 3:13-15, 5:23, 9:16, 15:2; YirmeYah 33:2; Mishle Shelomoh 30:4; YahshaiYah 50:10, 52:5-6.  Keep looking, it seems that “names” are VERY important to the one who “inspired” the original scrolls, doesn’t it?

Acts 4:12-17 gives us the important revealing that ONLY ONE NAME is given by our creators under the third lofty by which we may be rescued “alive” (into life everlasting).  Our rescurer said plainly that he came in the NAME of his abba Yah (father) (Yahanan).  That the works he did, he did in the NAME of his abba Yah (father) (Yahanan).  The scrolls tell us that when the rescuer of the “world” appears on Mount Tsiyon, those with him will have the NAME of his abba Yah (father) “written” upon their foreheads (in their minds)…that is, placed/scribed IN the mind, which is a promise of the everlasting contract (Hebrews 8:10-11).

Think!  When a male child goes out on a “mission,” IN THE NAME OF HIS FATHER, we can expect to “find” some where in the MALE CHILD’S name, the name of his father.  The writer of this brief work has a name that clearly reflects this George Edward MacEl’roi.  The name of the ‘father’ is – George Edward MacEl’roi.  George – “tiller of the soil,” as in preparing for its planting of seeds for “increase.”  Edward (from Ed and word, Ed) – is the vocalization of the Hebrew word that means “to repeat the ‘word’ in truth,”  one who has been taught and lived what is taught, then repeats to others what has been taught.  Mac – “son,” El means strength or supreme spirit leaders and Roi – one who “sees” all; hence, "son" of the all seeing/knowing mighty "one."  In total it can be rendered:  son of the supreme shepherd who sees/knows all.

Your name probably has been "altered" over the generations, however we can probably still see "ties" to our "abba Yah" in it somewhere.

Are we beinning to "see" that there is much more IN A NAME than maybe what we once beleived?

"What is his name and what is his first brought forth child's name, if you know.  ("Proverbs" 30:4)

Indeed...what's in a name?
